Just curious, but clarifying these might help you attract more local MTG players.

If you are requiring deck lists, is this a Competitive REL event? Will you have 1 or more judges and be running deck checks? I don’t necessarily think this is needed but local MTG players looking to play a 1K might want those kinds of details. Playing in a Competitive REL vs Regular REL event is a different vibe.

Giga-Robo! I wish I wasn’t a half continent away. Such a fun game!

Good questions! Let me check with our TA and see what he says – this is pretty much verbatim what I was given. Thanks for the input.

Response from the TA:

We will run the event at Competitive REL, given the size of the prize pool. We will have two certified judges on site, and we will have random deck checks.

At approximately what time will the Modern Magic the Gathering event be happening?

Thanks for asking! Doors open at 9 AM; all tournaments start at 9:30 AM.

Is there sign ups for the DnD one shots? or how does one get a spot for that?

Hi, thanks for asking! When you pay your admission fee ($10 in advance) you will have access to a sign up sheet for the D&D one-shot sessions. There are two 2-hour sessions capped at 6 people each.

Hey – we’ve got a Discord server set up for the event now. Tournament rules and other stuff posted as we get it sorted out.

Jester's Court GameFest 2023 - link expires 11/14.

Is it possible to get a new invite to the server? Thanks!

Sure! Here you go! Thanks for asking.
