Hi there,
We’re a month from the big day, and the application for being a part of the FRC Live Online reporters team is now open.
For those who didn’t hear about the project yet, the target is to give everybody the opportunity to be updated with the latest news from the field - the special matches, results, alliances, awards and most important - the spirit. Everything will be done through a special facebook page, where people from each regional will join the page’s team and will report live to the world - all you need is a smartphone and an internet connection to write and upload something from time to time.
During the regionals time, I find it pretty hard to follow all different regionals as not everybody has the time to follow all webcasts and different websites. That’s why I thought that there should be a place where all the highlights will be updated: that’s FRC Live Online.
A pilot for the project was held on October 3rd during the Israel Off Season, and another pilot will take place on December 9th during the Project Falafel 2012, a robotics competition organized by alumni of FIRST Israel.
For the beginning, the target is to cover the 60 regional competitions (without the district events), as well as the FIRST Championship and the Kickoff Event.
