Joystick help

I have two logitech extreme 3d pro joysticks and only one will show up on the driver station at a time. When we unplug one the other works, but as soon as we plug the first one back in, the second can no longer be seen.

Does it help to press the Rescan button below the USB Order after both joysticks are plugged in?

We hit the reset button multiple times and it does not refresh the list

Possibly, try putting one joystick in through a USB hub just to give it a slightly different connect path.

Does it recognize other types of game controllers, like an xbox, if they are plugged in at the same time as the 3D Pro?

Yes it does will see an Xbox controller and we did try to put the two joysticks through a USB hub.

I meant one joystick through a hub, but the other through a direct port just to separate them.
It sounds like they are both coming up with identical device IDs and confusing Windows.

P.S.
Do you have another computer you could try them on?

Yes we did try separating them but we can only see one. we can only see one of the logitech joystick on the driver station but when we go to devices and printers we can see both. we could see an xbox controller at the same time as one other logitech joystick but not two joysticks

we tried plugging both joysticks into a different computer and it worked instantly. the joysticks seem to work better on windows ten than on windows eight. thank you for the help on figuring out the problems

Good luck at competition!

Thanks, you to:D
