Jump Start 2019 St. Cloud State

As a new coach, I was excited to see how great Jumpstart was . I had 8 students total, 2 mentors, and 2 coaches attend. First time for Cambridge-Isanti team 5464. I found the excitement and ideas these 12 people had during our post event discussion was overwhelming. It is so valuable for so many to have a wealth of information all in one location.

We were significantly impressed with some of the student presentations. Also, 5464 students continued to talk over their experience from the day at home and many parents have given feedback both on my email and on social media how impressed they are with their kids new information, the ideas, and the inspiration they all came home with.

This is definitely an event I’m going to encourage our district to provide transportation to next year as a preseason event, and then the whole team can attend.

I sincerely appreciate all hard work, preparation, and effort that make this event possible.

Thank you for the positive feed back. Hearing these stories and the follow up references each year from teams crediting their season improvements back to participating in last Decembers JUMPSTART event validates the long hours all the organizers put in getting events like these put together.
