Disclaimer, some of the ideas in this post may have been talked about in other threads, at the time of posting i have not read all of them and some ideas may have been pitched before i posed this.
So i just watched the teaser and i have some ideas regarding the 2018-2019 FRC teaser trailer and recruitment poster.
in the recruitment poster Donky Kong like scaffolding is shown with rough edges resembling stairs. In addition, at the beginning of the video the girl goes down a flight of stairs so a part of this year’s game could involve going up and / or down stairs. This is a weak theory and is probably not going to be the case but, hey, why not.
Another theory that i have seen on another thread is that this year’s game will involve putting coins or other objects in coin slots or other slots. there are multiple parts of the trailer that show with much focus coins being put into coin slots or even the words INSERT COIN in the middle of the screen. Also on the recruitment poster there are robots chasing coins on the Donky Kong stile scaffolding along with some random Logomotion game pieces.
Another detail in the trailer is that when the girl gets sucked into the game, thecharacter appears to be in distress and the goal of the game could be to rescue her from the video game. but the exclamation point could mean many other things and i could be completely off.
And just as a side note that I’ve seen all over already is the side of the game cabinethas game pieces from 2016, 2005, 2017, 2011, and 2007. in that order top to bottom.
These are just some random theories and are probably not right or the full story. As more theories get developed from the trailer and new info get announced many of these theories will become obsolete. But hey these are just a couple theories…
