Just an apology

Hey all FIRST members out there.

As you can see, the color of my blocks are red. If you put your mouse over them, it says “A. Newlon is infamous around these parts”. They’re that way because I was a jerk to a lot of you.

I would just like to humbly apologize for my actions. I do belong to a team. They are a really hard working group and I am ashamed to let them down. My rudeness will be put to a stop immediately.

Again, apologies to everyone.

Now, I’m off to our meeting. Time to work hard and get this puppy wired. Good luck to everyone this year!

Sincerely,
Andy

I have not read any of your posts so would not be able to tell if you were bein a jerk as you put it, but I can tell you one thing it shows maturity to take responsiblilty for your own actions so good for you to realize you made a mistake and apologize for it.

As far as I can see it doesnt say your a jerk anymore lol. Maybe people like you now! I wouldn’t know I too haven’t seen very many posts from you

Andy:
It’s really great that you want to recognize and acknowledge that you are part of a good, hard working team on Chief Delphi. That’s good stuff.

Sometimes it takes a while to understand the character and integrity of this special place. Sounds like you are learning to appreciate CD’s value, and your own, pretty quick.

Keep it up,
have a great build -
Jane

You are a good man… we are proud to have someone like you who can take responsibilities for his own actions.

… things change, people change, but in FIRST we are a family. Good luck this season Andy, if you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to ask.

Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind. Being new to FIRST, I might have some questions. :o

I’m sure I speak for the whole Chief Delphi community when I say that we’ll all gladly help. We’re nice folks, honest. :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow! Look at the power of a humble apology! You aren’t in the red anymore! You have crossed over into the green pastures! And may you never go back!

Wow… I know *exactly *how hard that was to do

Good job, It takes some people :o a lot longer to get
an idea of how CD works into their heads, but once they
do… its always more fun here.

Good luck,
-Cody C

I remember a while ago, when you first started out and had like 10 posts and some red rep, I noticed you were acting like that. Now I don’t remember what you said, and I’m not going to go back and find out.
