JVN calculations

Hey Guys,
I am currently doing math for gear reductions for our winch. We usually use the jvn calculator but the problem is that we are using two 775pro motors to power our winch and we dont have an option for that. The two motors are opposite each other with the drum inbetween. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!

You should be able to use the field asking for, “# Motors per Gearbox.” It defaults to one, however if you set it to two, that would tell it you are using two motors on your climber.

thank you so much

the problem is that it is not two motors to a single gear box. it is two 775 with seperate but identical gear boxes. The gear boxes are versa planetary with a 1/2 inch hex output.

per gearbox is referring to the entire assembly. If both are12:1s then you just enter 2 motors per gearbox

For 2 different identical gearboxes, put gearbox efficiency at like, 80%. In JVN’s, iirc it changes your ‘loaded’ time and ‘loaded’ current draw. It’s pretty close to real.
