FIRST-time poster here, I had a big question that I really couldn’t find any good answer to.
Team 2523 is from St. Johnsbury, Vermont, and we’re working to rebuild our team after a hard hit from COVID. We’ll be watching the kickoff at our facility live, and I was wondering what the process is for receiving the KOP and drive base if you’re not at an event that carries it? Is there an option to have it shipped? Are there places to pick it up?

One option is to send a team adult to pick up your KOP and drive base from a Local Kickoff event. Looks like the one closest to you might be 1.5 hours away in Laconia NH. If you want to do that, your Lead Mentor 1/2 will need to sign up for this by noon on Tuesday 11/12.
If you don’t sign up for any Kickoff event by noon on Tuesday 11/12, your kit will be shipped to your team’s shipping address, at your cost, and you won’t receive it for several days after kickoff.

Sounds good, I think we’ll be having it shipped. We run under the guidance of a school, and kickoff is about two weeks before school begins again, so I think that’ll coincide nicely with that timeline.

Keep in mind your items may get delayed if they try to deliver to a school and it’s not open/no one is there to receive it, etc. One year we got our game piece/kickoff kit in hand about 1.5 to 2 weeks after kickoff.
For us we will make the drive to a local event just to make sure we have it for that first week of design. It’s not nearly as far for us so take my notes with a grain of salt.
