Hi all,
Panthrobotics is proud to announce its first Kickstarter Campaign. We’ve seen the idea done before and decided to jump in. Our campaign is called “Etch-A-Bot, Name-A-Bot”. Come and take a look.
Hi all,
Panthrobotics is proud to announce its first Kickstarter Campaign. We’ve seen the idea done before and decided to jump in. Our campaign is called “Etch-A-Bot, Name-A-Bot”. Come and take a look.
I am curious how do you plan on etching these names into your robot?
We have a sponsor who makes plaques and trophies. He etched our anodized aluminum last year.
I like this idea…capitalizing on the ‘virality’ and hipness of Kickstarter could be a great way to get more personal contributions compared to traditional methods. Best of luck!
Our team is also in the process of creating a Kickstarter Campaign and they are at the point of creating an Amazon Account. Can you tell me if you used a personal account or if your team has their own account? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
I used a personal account but am depositing the funds to the school once it is deposited.
I had another tip in regards to running a Kickstarter Campaign. Make sure that you advertise in every way possible. Panthrobotics is excited that Stephanie Hayden from Sons of Guns chose to post our Kickstarter on her fanpage that boasts well over 100k fans.
Now we will just have to see if her fans can be our fans.
