I’m just wondering what pressure angle the gears are in the kit gear box. The only reason I ask is because if we get theese same gearboxes next season I could save some money on using the two small gears for the cim motors. My guess is that they are 20DP, but you know what they say about assuming. This info is probably right in front of me, but I wasnt able to find it on either the first forums or IFI’s site. Dosnt slow me down in the design, cause thats already done =) but saving money is saving money, and the lower the cost per gearbox, the more appeal is has, as long as it performs. (ohh yeaaa)
Look in the 2005 Kit Transmission manual located on the IFI website. It is on one of the first few pages. The pressure angle is 14.5 degrees, not 20 degrees. The diametral pitch is 20.

Thanks paul, yea I don’t know why I put pressure angle for the title - and again in the initial question, because I was asking about the DP. I had a brain fart - I even wrote that I thaught the pressure angle was 20 dp - Sometimes I just type before thinking.
