Knocking Over Boxes

I just wanted to ask all those teams out there who are going to knock boxes over on the ramp. I know my team has come up with the idea of a netted telescoping arm to extend and plow through the pyramid. I know everyone is concerned with the “ballistics” of the boxes but is there a simpler way. If you don’t feel like sharing top secret plans thats cool I understand, I was just wondering about those darn boxes.

Also I read another thread that said something about how it is illegal to make your robot immobile. Could someone clear this up for me please???

Thanx guyz and girlz i’ll see you at the comps

TEAM 11’s COMPETITIONS: RUTGERS, ?PHILADELPHIA?, DA NATIONALS!!

Our team has almost exaclty the same low bot, under the bar telescoping bar bot

I have to say I picked my personal strategy… we’re a rookie team, but a lot of the team doesn’t seem to get that. We really haven’t even started and some are figuring out how to do every possible strategy at once it seems…

Me, and fortunatly most of the leadership of the team, are just hoping for a robot that moves

YaY pusher.

I have to say i’m glad you feel that way. I have seen some good rookie teams and i’ve seen some not so good rookie teams. Taking a simple approach helps. What competitions will your team be attending??? I’d like to see your robot in action!!:]

Yeah our robot is going to be able to do all of that.

for our rookie team, we’re attending the great lakes regional and the buckeye regional, located i think in ypsilanti michigan and cleaveland ohio
