So in the KOP teams received a Banebots gearbox for up to two redlines. I’m just not sure what the reduction is and does the reduction get affected if you use 1 or 2 motors?

The reduction shouldn’t change based on the number of motors.

According to the AM website, the “Sport Two Motor Gearbox” has a reduction of 52:16 (3.25:1), which would result in a free speed of roughly 6000 rpm when used with Redline motors (similar, but slightly faster than the output speed of a CIM).

I see and if I add on a reduction with a 57 sport, then I just multiply the reduction on the sport by 3.25 right?

Yes, multiplying the two reductions and then dividing the motor free speed by the result would give you the final RPM after all reductions.

So, for instance, if you used a 4:1 57 Sport in addition to the two motor gearbox, 4*3.25 = 13, so the resulting RPM would be 19649/13 = 1511.46~

Thanks!!
