Hello, my team is currently running falcon motors on our mk4 SDS swerve modules. are the kraken motors are a drop in replacements for the propulsion motors?
Yes, but you’ll need the additional pinion kit for the motors to be used.
which don’t seem to be in stock…
they’re using Mk4, not Mk4i; the correct product is Kit, Pinion Gear (MK3/4) – Swerve Drive Specialties
which is currently in stock.
But only for l4.
I totally misread that. You’d need the same ones we got ! You will need the plates for them as well…

is it possible to have a module with kraken and falcon?
Yes. We are doing that with modified MK4is
this kit is not available for out L2 swerve, but is the only part that is different is the Drive Pinion Gear between the L2 kit and the L4 kit, if we buy this gear from WCP, will it work?

with the pinion gears from here:
for L4 gear ratio, and got the only gear than is diffrent from WCP
installation was very easy, and it works very well.
used them during ISR #4 and ISR DCMP and had no problems.
