I have been looking at the files (from the PNTA web
page) showing what is involved in putting together
the Rumble at the Rock; I am agog. So much planing,
so much work, so many expenses! So many things of
which I had not thought!

I don’t know yet when our team will be arriving but
if I can be of any help feel free to call on me. What
you are doing is a great and wonderful thing.

Frank,

Please know that your comments mean the world to us in Plymouth…
and please let me share something very special with you…

Rumble is the work of the students, parents and community of Plymouth.

I am so very grateful for the opportunity to work with these dedicated parents
engineers, teachers and ESPECIALLY the STUDENTS, of Plymouth.Without whom
there would be no ‘Event’. The synergism is powerful and exciting and holds
much promise for communities everywhere. For people are far more alike than they are
different.

When the students and I sat down this winter to write the ‘Rumble Book’ you
so kindly refer to,we were struck with how fortunate we were to have enjoyed
the benefits of the hard work and dedication of Engineers like Steve Verrochi,
Dennis Kuba, Peter Ginnetty, Parents like Ron and Paula Partridge, Christine
Bonasera, Dana King, Jack Meehl and so many many more on our team who give willingly
of their time and expertise to make this something special for the students involved.

And of course…a special thanks to you Frank and to all the teams like yours
who make the effort to come to Rumble…because without that support, we’d
be one robot, a playingfield and some loud music echoing off the empty
seats at Memorial Hall…It’s nothing without the laughing, the hum of excitement
and the zaniness that all the teams bring to the event…

So to all the teams that are coming this year, from all of us in Plymouth,
let’s make it the wild and fun celebration of hard work and commitment that
it was meant to be…In Ron Partridge’s own words…‘Let’s get ready to Rummmmmbbble’

see you then Frank.
