Hello,
Our team has installed the FRC programs that came with the FRC 2013 Kit of Parts DVD. We chose to “install everything,” and most of the FRC ultilities work fine. However, our LabView installation says “NI LabView 2012”, and the FRC-specific interface and examples seem to be missing. Our LabView 2011 for FRC 2012 installation still works, but we can’t use it because it’s no longer activated. We’ve installed the programs multiple times on multiple computers, and we’ve tried installing all of the updates available from the FRC and NI websites.
We’re not sure where to go from here. Is there anywhere we could get the FRC-specific version of LabView?
Don’t worry, when properly installed it will still say 2012 on te splash screen. I got caught by that the frat time I nstalled and dd the same thing you dd,
Yep, we had this same problem.
Here’s the rest:

The problem is not just the slash screen; the welcome screen as shown in the tutorials and the included examples don’t match the FRC version either.
You’ll need to download and install the LabVIEW updates in addition to the CD you got in the KoP.
They go in order from the LabVIEW update, to the Utilities update, and the Driver Station update.
As mentioned earlier, we did that as well. All three updates installed successfully, and we’re still having the same problem.
Here’s a screenshot of what’s going on to clarify. We have the correct version of LabView, but we don’t have the FRC-specific version. We did use the FRC-supplied disc to install.
We’re expecting to see something like the one on this page: http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/3120/m/8559/l/92243-building-and-loading-your-first-labview-program
On disk, check in your LabVIEW 2012 folder for resource\modes\FRC. If this folder does not exist, then I would suspect you still need the updates at the links given by 7h0m54 above. These are in addition to what you installed from the DVD in the kit.
I agree. The FRC Labview update is not correctly installed. I know you said you updated it already but that is the screen we all got before we all downloaded and installed the update.
I’m pleased to say that we’ve found a solution for our problem: we had to install not only the update given above, but all of the updates here as well: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-26315 We got the information from an e-mail from FIRST. Thank you for your help.
Good news.
Although those were the Updates in post #5 …
