Hi, we are a Rookie Team 6722 and are about to go to a middle school on Tuesday to help build our team. We wanted to show off our lift but we don’t have one of those mock up stands to demonstrate it. Does any FRC Team near Sunlake High School in Florida have one we could borrow for that day? Or could anyone tell us what type of wood we would need and how long it would take to build our own? Go to the Game & Season Materials at firstinspires.org and down load 2017TeamVersions.pdf Page 1 starts the team version of the rope climb. Use this to get an idea and modify per the materials you have on hand. A few 2x4’s and you should be good. Use 2x4’s to shore up the angles if you don’t have plywood. You have to change your knot some for this setup but you could stand 2 2x4’s on end with a notch in one in the middle then a fabbed davit somewhere to the side.
