Lead Screws and Nuts

We’ve seen on YouTube that there are some people who are able to get two different nuts to go opposite directions on a lead screw. Has anyone ever done this? Ideas?

I’ve never seen that before, searching “Magic nuts and screw” came up with some pretty cool videos. I found a model on Thingiverse for one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12728

I think if you downloaded the model and took a look, you could probably figure out how it all works!

Look at a large hand-screw wood clamp for a different source of those

At a smaller scale, just run down to the hardware store and get a turnbuckle.
