Learn About GoBabyGo at Houston Champs

You know the thing where ride-on toy cars (like PowerWheels) are hacked and turned into motorized wheelchairs for children with mobility issues? That’s GoBabyGo! It’s a global movement to help provide early mobility to all and it is an AMAZING way to show students how to use their tech skills to make the world a better place…starting right now.

FRC 1939 - The Kuhnigits will be presenting a session titled: “GoBabyGo: The Perfect Outreach Opportunity for FIRST Teams” at Houston Championships on Friday in Room 370B from 3:30 to 4:20pm. We’ll be talking about what GoBabyGo is and everything you need to know to get started in your school! We’ve now done 57 GoBabyGo cars since we started building cars back in 2015.

Check out this video that talks about our big Community Build and Hack-a-Thon earlier this year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LU0TFu3dGM

Also, you can find more information, manuals, and discussion on our GBGConnect forum. It’s like the Chief Delphi of GoBabyGo. https://www.gbgconnect.com/

We also have more information available on our website at: https://www.frcteam1939.com/go-baby-go/

Hope to see you there!

Great to see that people down south are also doing this! We do this up in Michigan, and if anyone is interested come visit my team, Team 4130 at Detroit Champs!

Amazing work guys!

Thanks! It’s been really inspiring for the students.
