LEDs for signs in the audience

Our team has seen other teams with large cardboard or foam core signs that are usually in the shape of their team number. Many of them have LEDs on them to make them stand out. What my team wants to know is:

If your team does this, what LEDs do you use? We are interested in having these at our week 6 tournament.

Mini super bright LED strands from Amazon

One strands does one number. The battery pack tapes to the back and takes 3 AA.

We just made a new set today because the foam letters were bending, but the lights are still going strong and we’ve had them for two years already.
