Lift Motor Button Help

I need some help with controling the lift motors for the robot. The team wants to use buttons 6 and 7 on the joystick. Button 6 makes the lift arms retract thus lifting the robot and button 7 makes the arms exend thus lowering the robot. How do I write the code that while button 6 is being held down the Arms willl retract and simmilarly for button 7.
I am not very experienced with Labview, if you could offer any help that would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
