You have to consider the following:

Any non-functional decorations included on the Robot must not affect the outcome of the match and must be in the
spirit of Gracious Professionalism.
I’d stay away from strobe lights.
Where can we buy lights like this??
Last year, we used LED strips. Alternatives like cathode tubes are also viable light sources.
EL (electroluminescent) tape is another great option
