Limelight and Custom Circuit Wiring

Hello,
I have read other threads, and cannot find an answer to some of our questions.

Our team received their Limelight in the mail yesterday, and it is quite nice (we got more work done in an hour with the limelight than we had in 2 years with the pixy). However, we were confused with the wiring recommendations, “Wire directly to the PDP.”

We looked through CD, and it seems people are recommending we wire directly to one of the lower (<30Amp) circuits in the PDP (to have room for the VRM and PCM in their respective ports).

My question, is this legal? I thought I remembered seeing a rule that states one can only wire to the VRM or a relay unless it is a motor controller or a PCM in the proper connector (the mini Wagos at the bottom).

I know it is safe to wire the limelight directly, but I was just curious about legality. I pored over the game manual last night and this morning, but could not find the rule.

Am I overlooking something, or is this legal, and as a follow up can a team wire custom circuits to the PDP directly (this is more of a curiosity), and can a team legally wire a second PCM or VRM to the other circuits on the PDP?

Thanks,
~Mr. R^2

Found this pretty quickly by searching the manual for “custom circuit”

The manual provides a breaker limit for CUSTOM CIRCUITs plugged into the PDP, so it must be legal to plug them into the PDP.
