We saw that theres new releases for the limelight, however after installing all of them we ran into a problem. When opening BalenaEtcher and trying to select a target, both our limelight 2+ and 3 don’t seen to appear in BalenaEtcher. We’re connected to USB and all, but for some reason it just doesn’t appear.
Have you tried a different cable? The one you have may be a charging only one.
Tried a different one, both times it didn’t appear.
Do you have all the correct drivers? I had the same issue and it was resolved when I downloaded the drivers necessary to write to the Limelight. It should be on the setup page on the documentation.
This is typically the issue, just ensure you have the drivers they indicate in the documentation.
I recently had this problem, it’s a dumb problem. First, unplug your limelight from everything and then connect to it via USB C cable from your laptop. THEN, once the limelight has booted up (you can tell based one of its lights turning green) you launch Etcher.
If you have a 3G limelight you need to click the red button on the top and hold it while plugging in the USB c
