I know that it’s recommended by many to use both POE and the “Standard Wiring” in case the POE wiggles loose, but has anyone actually experienced this happening? Is it a case of just do this because it’s better to be safe than sorry or has this actually been a problem for some teams. I would think if the Ethernet port became loose enough to lose power, then the network would also likely be down for a while.
We only used PoE on our limelight this year and never had it come loose.
