We’ve read the info sheets but are confused about the four pin limit switch connection for the Talon FX. Can someone recommend a tutorial on this and also whether the rev magnetic limit switch will work with the talon. The wires are labeled different and we’re not sure if they are going to argue with each other.
The 4 pins are actually for 2 separate limit switches. One for the “forward” direction, and one for the “reverse” direction. Each pair of pins has a “signal” pin and a “ground” pin, so just about any common (passive) limit switch should work fine. The caveat is any sensor that requires a power source (i.e. light beam sensors) will require you to run a wire from elsewhere to provide that power source.
