We are testing very simple Velcro hatch mechanism. As you can see in this video:
The hatch gets caught on our loading station. We tried to build to the FRC team drawings.
Did we build the loading station incorrectly? If not, is that how it will be to remove a hatch from the loading station?
Thanks for the help.

as far I can tell it is built to Spec. Try removing the hatch with your hand and see if it is difficult.

Thanks, it is definitely hard to remove by hand. On our version of the loading station, the hatch gets caught on the plastic of the brush and a bit on the wood holding the brush.
I had assumed on the real game loading station that the only thing holding the hatch in horizontally was the brush bristles, but I could have been wrong.

I figured out the issue with our loading station. We didn’t attach the little rubber piece . Should be good now!

See Team Update 8 (https://firstfrc.blob.core.windows.net/frc2019/Manual/TeamUpdates/TeamUpdate08.pdf ) about a revision to the Loading Station (TE-19108) drawings. The actual support is moved up, preventing the hatch panel from getting caught on the plastic and making it easier to remove hatch panels.
