We just finished testing our drive system and this works…
If you are looking for a quick and easy way to lock your drill gearbox in low or high gear try some O-rings. You’ll need 2 per motor to get the correct width. They go in between the gears in the back half of the motor assembly case. I think we used 1-1/2 OD 1/8’ wall.

Hello All;
We’ve found that to lock into high, you need a spacer (we use delrin) that is the full inside diameter of the housing and approx. 0.055 thick installed in the forward end of the gearbox. To lock into low, you need a spacer, again the full inside diameter, approx 0.187 thick installed in the aft end of the gearbox.
