My FRC team wants to do swerve drive for the first time ever. We have 5 falcon 500’s and the falcon 500 swerve modules, i am trying to procure 3 or 4 more to have them for our drive and one extra if an issue happens with it. I would be willing to buy. I need to find them ASAP. The clock is ticking for the Las Vegas regional.

I wish you luck. If you look through the search for similar posts the others have not had much luck in this regard. They are very hard to find because there were no new ones released and teams don’t want to give up the only ones they still have. It’s possible teams that ordered Krakens and Neo Vortex will be able to let their Falcons go once they have tried them out more and feel comfortable.
Don’t give up, but also don’t count on finding any, maybe see if you can use a different second motor in place of the steering falcon? You don’t want your whole robot stuck waiting for a part that you may never find.

Buy into some other in-stock ecosystem and sell your Falcons to another team.
This will get you a working robot the quickest.

Do the Krakens X60 work with MK4i Swerve Module? if so ill just drop 2k on 10 motors for redundancy issues

I think RC is putting a Kraken stock update out today, but if you are looking for ASAP (and depending on what he says) your best bet might be NEOs as they are currently in stock, you could do 4 NEOs for steering and 4 falcons for drive, or invest in all NEOs.

On this part you’d be mixing Rev and CTRE libs for code. It’s not impossible, but annoying is maybe a better word. With the Kraken it will be more or less the same as a falcon as the MC is still a TalonFX.

I’m fairly certain that we still have 2x brand new Falcon v1.x in a box. We never gotten around into investigating if we have the v1.0 issue when COVID hit and then decided to go the NEO/REV direction since.
I can double check and take pix if anyone are interested in either buying them or trading for 2x sets of new REV’s SparkMax + NEO’s (v1.x or v2).

We’ve been doing 4 falcons for the drive and 4 mini-CIMs for the steering if you want to avoid crossing programming eco-systems. The mini-CIMs use TalonSRX’s. Hope you’re able to find the motors you need!

Think basically swapping them to a new set of SparkMax+Neo so about $150-160 per motor?

Also like I’ve said originally, I’m fairly certain these are v1.0 motors, whether they have the v1.0 problem or not we never gotten around to investigate so you will probably wanted to make sure your team can deal with the v1.0 motor issues.
