Looking to buy a Limelight 2 camera

Hey all,
We (Orbit 1690) are looking for a team willing to sell us an unused/spare Limelight 2 camera.
It has been out of stock for quiet some time now over at their website and at Andymark’s - it does say it should be back in stock by 3/26 but since we are competing again 1 week after that and it involves international shipment (to Israel), we were really hoping someone could help us out so we surely have a spare by the time DCMP arrives.
If anyone can help, please contact me at:
[email protected]

Thanks,
Tom

Limelight 2 is back in stock. I just ordered one this morning.

I got an email from WCP saying limelight was back in stock.

Thanks for the heads up, we purchased one directly from limelight (since it’s the cheapest shipment option). Their website says 6-10 business days (our first one took about 4 weeks to arive :frowning:) which is really tight given our dcmp is April 2-4.
We sent an email to them explaining our situation in hopes they can make it work…
If anyone from limelight follows chiefdelphi please try to accelerate the process as much as possible.

You could always cancel your order and get them from Andy Mark. Mine took 3 days from them.

Yours doesn’t have to travel to the other side of the world…
These’s something unreasonable about how expensive international shipment to Israel from both vex, wcp and andymark is, for that small of a package we would have paid over 200$ in shipment from past experiences - which is unacceptable!

First one we got came directly from Limelight in 2 days from Las Vegas to PA via USPS for $7.80.

Does this mean your hopping back on the limelight train??? #teamlimelight

We plan on it, if we have the weight and time

You do realize international shipment costs from these suppliers is pretty much out of their control right?

In theory I do, but when I go check shipping rates on UPS, Fedex, DHL, etc. From some general address in the US on packages of the same size, the expected cost is about 1/4 of the rates I’m getting when ordering directly from them - it mostly gets balanced when putting together an order of 5000$ and upwards…
Anyway for this particular situation it seems like a solution was found with the help of Limelight themselves and we’ll be good.
