Yeah the pick lists aren’t loading my. On cellular here.
@sdas @JohnFogarty Thanks for letting us know. With the increase in data our picklists have had some issues when there’s lots of server load. We are trying to fix it to the best of our ability right now. Later this week we are aiming to improve performance a lot. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will update soon.
Hopefully working better now! Still may have some issues and may be a little slower. Hoping to make some bigger improvements tomorrow when I have time, once again sorry for the inconvenience.
Yep, everything seemed to be in order. We just used it at Miami Valley Regional again and the insights were key to our success on the field.
For scouting management we found the new scouting tracking and editing features quite useful. I was wondering, however, what is the purpose of the two QR codes? Are they the same thing? One seems a lot less complicated than the other. In the low light environment of the arena we couldn’t scan the more complex code.
Other than that I think we had a better experience with it than at Pittsburgh. Once again thanks for your quick responses to issues and for making this app available to everyone!

When you have 2+ QR codes for a scout report it means there’s too much data to pack into a reasonability sized QR code, so we split it into 2. However, if one is too complicated to easily scan, we could lower the threshold so it split into 2+ medium sized QR codes

Worked well this year, we were also at Miami Valley. Though we had trouble with scouters giving up near the end, it was very cool to see other team’s scouting reports coming in throughout the matches.
Hope this continues for 2025 season.

Hi, we were wondering if you have any updates on if the ability to export data will happen by worlds? Another feature request I have is a one on one comparison tool, being able to display the data like the page below for two teams at the same time would be awesome as well as maybe being able to view both teams trend lines for a desired category at the same time, I am aware of the picklist tool but being able to see a full page of data like the team lookup would be ideal.
I was also wondering if there is any plan/way to be able to view the app on a computer as our team likes to project a screen for others to see and to be able to have the app be on a large screen for all to see would be great.
If any of those things exist already please direct me on how I would be able to access them and thank you for providing us with an amazing app to use this year.

Yes data export is coming later this week, if you are on our email list you will get an email when the update is ready.

Maybe in that update we will be able to add a way to see 2 team look up pages side by side when your phone is horizontal. If not, than for next year! If we do add that feature in time for Worlds you will see a brief description of how to use it in the email.

No current official way, although we will be adding sometime next year. However this season we’ve had reports of it working on windows with windows subsystem for android.

I believe you can get Lovat on Mac with the iPad porting that the newer os has, a mentor on my team was able to do it.

We have just released a small update for Lovat Dashboard in both the App Store and the Google Play Store. This allows users with the scouting lead role to download data from Lovat Dashboard. To do so, go to your settings, select a tournament and tap “Export CSV”, it will then download to your device. The download only uses data from the tournament you have selected, but all the source teams you have selected in your settings. So, the numbers might be slightly different from what you see in the team look up page. Please let us know if you have any issues with this feature.

Hello, on our Newton schedule in the app, there seem to be only 13 matches loading, and the teams dont seem right either (not the right alliances according to TBA). Do you have an idea what might be doing this?

Is there a way to export the data for individual matches and not all averages for all the teams/matches

As a scouting lead you can see individual scout reports by long holding on a team/match in the match schedule page. However, there’s no way to export that right now. Sorry for the inconvenience, we plan on adding that for next season!

Thanks so much for posting Lovat this season, it has been a game changer for scouting on our team and has made scouting that much more enjoyable for our scouters!
Last month we were at Arizona Robotics League Qualifier 5 and we were running into some issues. When our scouters tried uploading their data there was underlying text saying “Match does not exist.” We tried scanning the qr code instead and that gave us the same text but on the scanning phone.
If I don’t have WIFI but have data/service, will lovat still work?
