Slipping some CF springs into a telescoping aluminum tube. Any advice on an ultra low (flat) mounting system? I’m guessing countersink a screw as flat as I can, but happy to hear ideas. Thanks.
I would try rivets
Second rivets! In prototyping they work best so far. Also if you can reduce friction by keeping the spring from spooling against your tube by using some sort of standoff the spring will work better. Good luck!
We’re thinking of doing a similar idea, how would one this mount exactly?
