Lower Goals

From the description in the rules, it seems that the lower goals are outside the playing area with the outside border as the front support; but if I scale the picture (I know, a bad idea), it looks like the lower goal is inside the playing field with the outside border acting as the rear support. Can you please clarify?

The lower scoring areas are indeed OUTSIDE of the borders of the field. Do not scale any of the sketches (that’s why they are undimensioned) To better understand - look at the lower scoring area in the appendix and imagine that the side of the pipe to the right hand side of it is IN the playing field. The shelf rests on top of the pipe border that goes around the field, and the shelfs themselves with the dividers are on the OUTSIDE of the field. Hope that helps, Sorry about the confusion.
