The M.A.R.C. (Michigan Advanced Robotics Competition);

•  Has moved dates this year, from June to August 23-25, 2018.

•	Will be at Monroe High School in Monroe Michigan.

•	Will have an ice cream social.

Early registration discounts will be extended to July 23, 2018.

For teams wishing to compete with a second robot, a second robot discount is available; please contact the MARC committee for discount information.

I signed up to volunteer, should I have gotten something yet?

From the looks of things they had to get a new VC. Matt Malinak contacted me last weekend while I was at Robots @ CNE to confirm my assignment.

Looks like theres only 23 teams according to the website. Hopefully we have at least 24 to make a full elims.

Dang! We just had 27 teams just yesterday!

I know both the Bees and my team (910) dropped out. We just started school yesterday so it would have been hard to get out there. Since the bees are a catholic school like us, I would imagine they just started recently as well. I don’t know who else dropped out.

Well, let’s hope some teams bring their practice bot.

Yeah, this was kind of a bummer, we love the MARC. We have gone every year since 2008. NDP is back in session this week and I really can’t take the students out of class for an off season event. The MARC is in June again next year, so we are already planning to be back

AFAIK, this is the first time 910 has missed MARC. Glad to hear it’s back in June next year.
