Hello local Michigan Teams
We are in need of teams to display their robots at the Maker City Faire at the Henry Ford on July 31 and August 1, 2010.
We will have a FIRST area with part of a field.
The best part of signing up, you will get into the Maker Faire for free. Each team will be able to visit the other displays at the fair. Plus, there should be a lot of potential sponsors at the event.

Maker City Faire was an exciting but exhausting weekend It is hard to describe the things that we experienced this weekend. The exploding pop, the singing lobster/fish car, the raining swings, the full size Mouse Trap game and the list goes on. The crowd loved the Martians (FRC0494) Time Machine and Alpha Omegas (FRC0470) Cow and other small robots. How exciting that we could take part in this first Maker Faire at the Henry Ford Museum.
We had 9 FRC teams, 1 FTC team and 1 FLL team. Next year, we are adding a Junior FLL team to complete the group.
During the weekend, our team, FRC0815, was able to entice a new Mentor, picked up a few new student members and received a $700 donation from Autodesk. Not a bad weekend.
