Hi all! We are attending Seneca for the first time. Has anyone else attended and can give me a run down of how it works? Are the pits 10x10? How are the lunch lines? What is the travel time from pits to field? Other notes?
Thanks in advance
I wasn’t there last year, but I was there 2013-2015. I never measured the pits but they seemed like the normal size (i.e. 10x10). Of course that could change year-to-year depending on the number of teams in attendance. The lunch lines aren’t usually that long and there’s typically plenty of seating in the cafeteria. You can also get food from Wawa not too far away (but it’s nice to support the host team by buying your food there). The travel time from pits to the field is a matter of seconds. The pits are in a different gymnasium from the field, but they are right next to each other. I particularly like this fact because it means that the pits are relatively quiet (compared to competitions with the pits and field in the same room) but still easy to access. The practice field/inspection station is in the hallway in between the pits and field.
Thanks!
