Has there been any updates to the team list?

Will there be any rule changes?

Looking forward to another great event!

Team 3098 The Captains are looking forward to test new drivers against some of the best teams!

Outside of IRI MARC probably has the toughest team list of any off season (thus why I dub it IRI jr).

Will MARC be webcast? If so, can you provide a link in advance?

And what can we expect in terms of pit size relative to a regulation size pit area?

What are the final details on alliance selection criteria?

Any special rule changes of note?

I’m pretty sure https://new.livestream.com/accounts/8991459/events/3125291 will be the link. We’re moving to Livestream this year because Ustream has been crapping out on us. The only caveat is that viewers will need to create a Livestream account, but then they’ll get an ad-free experience, unlike the last several years.

Pit size will be 8’x8’. We needed to make them this size to fit the 48 teams,

Alliance selection will be three alliance partners picked for a total of 4 teams per alliance. Every robot on the alliance must play at least once in eliminations. After a team plays once in eliminations it is the captains choice if they play again.

I leave the rule changes up the refing crew since they are the ones to enforce them (This one slipped through the cracks). I am waiting on a response for any changes. I will post if there are any changes. If I don’t hear from them then we will likely just keep the rules the same.

We are going to try and follow the agenda as best as possible. However, you never know when something comes up that prevents us from following the schedule.

This year there are going to be no real rule changes for MARC.

Just like every off-season event, the head ref and crew have noticed throughout the regular season that some rules were way to strict and want to go easy on fouls. Especially G12, G28, and G40.

The team is also considering a no zone rule for possession and if that is decided then they will give that info out at the drivers meeting.

Sorry for the late information and cant wait to see my regulars and all the new faces at MARC this year.

Thanks for the info Steve! Quick questions…Are you looking for items for auction like always? How many matches will we have? Thanks for putting on this great event…again!

We are not doing a silent auction this year. The auction will continue next year. You never know what happens as far as teams not showing up. Number of matches would depend on no shows but I am thinking 10 matches
