We are getting a Markforged 3pd, and we are working with the school to make that happen. One concern is always safety, so we are currently researching Air filters. Markforged says they recommend the Austin Air filter. What do y’all recommend? Thanks!

Ideal is an exhaust fan to carry any fumes outside the building. In a typical school it requires a roof penetration, which Maintenance is often loath to do. Your situation might allow a wall penetration, which is an easier sell.
An axial fan mounted inside some 7" metal duct can be both quiet and highly effective. Mount it at the far end for almost silent operation.
