Marvel Cinematic Universe Discussion

Does anyone want to talk about the latest MCU news and make predictions?

(Ex.: Avengers Endgame predictions and reactions to trailers like Captain Marvel, Endgame, and today’s release of Spider-Man Far From Home Teaser)

My bet is that all of the original six Avengers will leave for various reasons. I think Steve Rodgers will either die or give up the mantel of Captain America and Tony Stark will retire as Iron Man at the conclusion of Endgame. I believe Tony will retire after he and Pepper find out they’re pregnant. Their daughter will eventually pick up the mantel of Captain America. I believe that this will help mend the issues between the two friends by Tony raising her and Steve training her.

Anyways, that’s probably all wrong but I think it would be nice

I had assumed that Mysterio would be the villain in FFH but in the trailer he seems to be helping spider man or doing his job for him or something like that.

Honestly, that is a great Idea… I hadn’t thought of that

I think that many people’s theories with Mysterio is that he is actually creating the villains in FFH and then defeating them, making Spider-Man look bad, or as Mysterio is the master of illusions in the comics the whole movie may be an allusion created by Mysterio on Peter. (These are some of the trending theories.

I however think that they are going to have Mysterio be in this movie as an ally of Spider-Man and then have an end credit scene of him doing something evil behind Spider-Man’s back and then having him be the main villian of the third Tom Holland Spider-Man Movie…

Do you think Dr. Strange’s , “It was the only way” was a reference to a plan that he had, and if so, what do you think his plan is to resurrect those who disintegrated from the Snap?

Oh I like your idea. That would be kinda cool to see them work together then against each other.

I assume its what happened in the one scenario Dr. Strange saw that they win so it was literally the only way to win. They had to lose to win. My theory is that it comes down to Captain Marvel and Ant-Man with the quantum realm. Captain Marvel will hopefully save Tony and Nebula and take them to Earth so they can all work together with their shared experiences and knowledge.

I agree! This is very similar to my idea! Also, I think that when Dr. Strange viewed all of the futures, he saw the only way to win, then using his control of the quantum realm, went to the future and released Ant-Man, before returning to titan and giving up the time stone. (I think he made one final time travel with the stone before he had to give it up and he died.)

This was actually my question for a Media Productions assignment. We had to film a podcast on a question of our choice, find news articles, and create our intro and outro. I have a link if anyone is curious
