Match Schedule: Galileo

Does anyone have a match schedule for Galileo?

I heard the schedules were released at 6 PM, but the team was really anxious to get home.

Thanks for sharing for those of us at home. (:

Wow! Match 42

Teams 45,67,111 in the same alliance…

gah beat to it… that will be a fun match to watch.

How about 40’s Match schedule ! They play with 111, then 744, then 71 ( and us yay! ) then 67 THEN 1717 JEESH!

They have a great schedule and are a great team I would not be surprised if they end up ranked on Saturday.

i hate to ask this… but where did you find those match schedules? because i went to the FIRST website, and i could not find them = so if somebody could direct me, that would be nice =]

Archimedes: http://www2.usfirst.org/2009comp/events/Archimedes/schedulequal.html
Curie: http://www2.usfirst.org/2009comp/events/Curie/schedulequal.html
Galileo: http://www2.usfirst.org/2009comp/events/Galileo/schedulequal.html
Newton: http://www2.usfirst.org/2009comp/events/Newton/schedulequal.html

I found these by using www.frclinks.com

I used the query /e/s/“divsion code”
The division codes are listed on that webpage

thank you:D

I combined the match schedule with the CCWM and generated the following ranking prediction. It doesn’t take into account the qualification scores, but are sorted from highest individual CCWM to lowest:

Rank	Team #	Q Points
1	67	14
2	71	14
3	971	12
4	40	12
5	25	12
6	418	12
7	1318	12
8	179	12
9	1676	12
10	45	10
11	870	10
12	1717	10
13	716	10
14	1332	10
15	151	10
16	987	10
17	111	10
18	359	10
19	1745	10
20	1923	10
21	708	10
22	1710	10
23	2214	10
24	1208	10
25	1902	10
26	226	10
27	1941	10
28	281	10

I don’t put much faith in these numbers, but they are interesting, and thought I’d share.

In my opinion,TechnoKats and Wildstang might end up ranking higher than Purple Haze…

Yeah…noticed that one! Oh, because we are the opposing alliance. That’s just not right. How is a 2nd year team from Hawaii suppose to deal with THAT!

They also have targets [size=2]on their backs. Purple Haze has more of a [size=3]target.[size=2]

The better/more well-known you are, the more you are defended against. If you can play through it, you will do well. But if you can’t, well, that’s life.

Yup, that happened at Lone Star when everyone thought that the Robowranglers and Purple Haze were going to win their second regional (they won Dallas) together, but since 148 had an AMAZING robot and 418 was seeded first, numerous teams developed strategies particularly for them; completely jeopardizing their chances of winning.

Where would I find the address for the podcast of Galileo?

I want to watch the Newton Field as well. Team 1511, Rolling Thunder, has a family connection. Where would I find the podcast address for that field?

TY

The webcasts have several locations you can watch. http://gameday.mttkllr.com/ picks up all the feeds, so you can watch both Galileo and Newton (and Archimedes and Curie and Einstein) simultaneously. Then you can debate the action with whoever else happens to be in the chatroom. The site also gets rankings and match results from FIRST.

The feeds themselves are at http://science.ksc.nasa.gov/robotics/

Gah, were against that, but we’ll give it our best shot.

It will be a fun match to be in at any rate.

Same way you deal with any other alliance …

Analyze
Strategize
Play

Oh, and enjoy the fireworks from those beastly teams

Shouldn’t that be Analyze, strategize, PRAY?
