Hello Everyone! Our team 8612 just ordered some of the MAXplanetary products and to use motors (Krakens/Falcons) we ordered the Input couplers for those motors. And when we got them they don’t seem to fit at all. The included ones for the neo’s work just fine. The teeth seem to be a bit different too. We not sure if we ordered the wrong thing or if the fit is just really tight. Here is the link to what we placed an order on.
Did you order the 14t or 15t spline version?
The 15t appears to be for the Kraken/SplineXS, the 14t is for falcons.
Make sure that you put the correct one on the Falcon 500 and on the Kraken.
The spline is different!
How many teath does the input couplers has?
My problem is not the motor spline it is the teeth lining up with the gearbox itself.
Huh, that’s a more peculiar situation… Best bet IMO would be reaching out to REV customer service.

There are some helpful information about building a carrige.
I will have to get a photo when I can to show you what I mean.
I know we had issues in the past getting those to line up with the regular Neo ones. It was not a tight fit more like the friction between the face of the gear and the drive adapter was too much to allow you to turn one without turning both of them. That was more so when they first came out and not so much recently.
The Neo couplers we have fit perfectly but the all the separate ones we bought (Kraken, Falcon) don’t want to fit. Is there a fix for this?
