May I climb the chain in the stage before the last 20 seconds of a match?

I didn’t see any parts of the manual specifying if you could only onstage within the remaining 20 seconds of a match. Would the same apply to putting a note inside the trap?

Generally there are not rules against climbing early, so it makes sense there are not any this year. I don’t know if it makes sense but theoretically a robot that spends the whole game climbing then shooting into the trap is legal.

I see no rule prohibiting either.

Bear in mind that until you’re off the carpet, you’re unprotected before the last 20 seconds of the match.
