So far my team has had 17 matches! …haven’t played with or against your team at all…aren’t scheduled to tomorrow either!

The schedule goes to at least match #123 (our last)…but there is no way we’ll get through all of them. I predict maybe 100 matches.

Congrats also to Dave M. - my fellow scholarship award winner.:stuck_out_tongue:

Team 1111 from Edgewater, Md would like to thank Teams 225 and 341 for helping Sparky out in the finals at the Maryland State Fair. You helped us out in ways I can’t even describe. You were awesome and graciously professional and you remind us of the great, fine people we were told we would meet and befriend in FIRST Robotics. Thanks again and we can’t wait to see you at regionals next year!

I would like to send a big congrats back to my hometown team. You had a GREAT robot in your hands, and I am proud too see that you were a force to be reconned with. Best wishes on the rest of the post-season, and I can’t wait to meet up against you ‘from the other side’.

Congratulations!

The Maryland State Fair was a great place for a post-season robotics competition.
The event site was a perfect place for families and team members to spend time together. The MD State Fair featured amusements, crafts, demonstrations, exhibits, etc.

Mike Wade brought back the “Best 2 out of 3” format for the finals.

The folks that organized the State Fair provided free admission for the teams and parking passes for two team vehicles (close to the arena/pit area).

The $500 of travel money was also very nice.

This is a great event…any team that considered going and did not…really missed out on the fun!!

Thanks to team 84 for having faith in our robot at the Maryland State Fair, despite its two initial days of mishaps (it fell over every match the day before the finals). They trusted our quick emergency engineering which involved cutting our robot nearly in half (heigh-wise, of course) and the results of their decision were highly favorable. It was great working with you, Team 84!

Thanks from all of Team 007.
(Sorry this is so late, computer problems)
