Our team is working on moving vision onboard the bot this year. We have a small Windows 10 pc that we’d like to put mDNS on. It looks as if Windows doesn’t really support this yet but that there are a number of third party installs for it. Does anyone know what FRC/WPI/NI uses? We’d like to match that if we could.
Also, since we have seen issues with mDNS, we may go with static IP. What does FMS allow? Is there a list of reserved addresses still? I’m assuming we’d assign the on board PC to 10.TE.AM.x.
