Assuming I follow this set up, where should I place REV’s analog pressure sensor so that it can tell me how much air is left in the tank? Also, if I’m using two solenoids, should I have two regulators branching off that each go to a solenoid or should I have one regulator branch off to two solenoids (assuming I want both solenoids to channel 60psi)?
One regulator to two solenoids. This is a rules requirement: one primary pressure regulator (R88). All working air goes through it. You can further regulate after that, if you want to, but that’s the important one.
You’d want to place REV’s sensor in a T-fitting near the tank(s), and I’d put it between the tanks and the regulator.
Say I use two tanks in a row and place the pressure sensor after as you said. Is there a way we have to like scale the voltage further than what REV already says because its two tanks?
No, the sensor measures pressure. The multiple tanks just gives you more air available at that pressure, the second tank doesn’t change the stored pressure. (Though it will mean that the tank psi will decrease less for each action, and the compressor will have to work longer for each psi increase.)
