Veteran team here. We have only ever used mechanum wheels one other time. (I have never used them) pros and cons?
There are a ton of posts on CD this already.
My team used them last year and had good success, but it requires planning your strategy around being Omni directional. So we went with a small fast robot and didn’t play a strategy that needed a strong drive train to score points.
Just read through some of the older posts and make your own decision, alot of people tend to hate on mecanums for no real reason
