Mental Ray Renderer creates solid black images

We’ve been using the default Scanline renderer up to now, with pretty good results.

But when I tried the Mental Ray Renderer (no GI, high) all I get is a solid black frame with the default settings.

Last year we had no problems using the default Mental Ray settings in 3ds Max 9.

ive had this problem lately too
if someone could help this would be good please
it also goes crazy with raytraced stuff

Press 8 when in Mental Ray

Uncheck use use map

Scroll down and tun off Exprouse control

Thats all, Regular renders for All!
