The Michigan governor recently signed the 2020 state budget with a number of line-item vetoes, and I was finally able to find a list of them here - and just the list
I assume the budget isn’t totally final, but it lists a veto for 99h “First Robotics - Nonpublic Schools” @ $300k. Good news is this probably means the state grants still exist, just not for non-public schools.
Looks like there was $4.5M for public schools and $300K for nonpublic schools, so it looks like the latter got the ax.
