Just a reminder, registration is only $100 for teams signing up before Saturday, June 1st.
Current prize sponsors include SilverStone Technology, JeVois, Armabot, and Ozzyboards.
When you say prize sponsors, what do you mean by that?
I believe some components have been donated to give away.
This. I used to host LAN parties from 2003 to 2008 and this was a common thing. Sometimes, we’d do drawings, other times it was tied to a game tournament. That’s sort of what made me think of reaching out to sponsors for this event.
For MMRR, we’ll likely let teams choose their prize or prize bundle starting with the top ranked team and continuing in descending order.
RoboRodeo reminder spam:

Super hype to hear this!!
Awesome, thanks so much! See you guys at Robo-Con!
Still a few spots left for last minute signups.
We’re pretty stoked for next weekend to say the least. When I started promoting this thing my goal was to get 12 teams. We’re new and located in the middle of nowhere, so that seemed like a reasonable goal. The response we’ve gotten definitely has exceeded our expectations—especially from the east side of the state. We haven’t even hosted the thing and we’ve already made new friends.

Do you have any guess on how many matches teams might get to play at the event?
12 qualification matches plus elims, which will include a round robin, semifinals and finals matches.
That’s from our FTAA looking at FMS with our schedule and 16 teams.
Will there be a livestream?
Streamed at twitch.tv/firstupdatesnow edit: it is actually being streamed on http://youtube.com/firstupdatesnow/live per Tyler’s post below
Awesome! Looking forward to a great event, wish I could be there in person!
Correction to @nmatthes statement. This will be streamed at youtube.com/firstupdatesnow/live or watch both events this weekend at thebluealliance.com
Wrapping up quals and playoffs are coming up! Watch live at https://www.youtube.com/firstupdatesnow/live
Any chance someone could post the match results for elims? TBA only has results through quarterfinals and even then some of the data appears to be missing.
Those are all of the matches. They only played semifinals and finals, but TBA has known issues importing this type of event from FRC events if the playoff type isn’t set on TBA beforehand. That’s also why the bracket lists 6-7 teams in each alliance. Basically, matches 1-6 in FMS are semifinals and 7-9 are finals (which corresponds to qf1m1-qf2m2 and qf3m2-qf1m3 on TBA).
