Already signed up to volunteer. I cant wait I love going to this.
TechFire 225 is looking forward to MKM 2017!!
MKM is always a great event! I’m excited to volunteer there and I hope (and expect) for 1257 to attend!
Is there an updated team list? The Rambots are excited to attend!
I’m looking forward to another Midknight Mayhem with 1257.
Has the Mayhem rule for this year been chosen yet?
Glad you are excited.

Waitlist spots release on May 25 (the payment deadline).
As far as the Mayhem rule: In progress
Quick question: Is it reasonable to walk from Princeton Junction (Train Station) to your high school?
I’m sure you could if you really needed to; but I’d go with no. Some of the way there has less-than-stellar sidewalks.
There are taxis/uber for pretty cheap - it isn’t far at all to the school.
While I’m here; updating team list:
13/36 paid, 12 additional teams on waitlist.
Payment deadline 5/25, at which point we start opening spots to the waitlist.

Volunteered at MKM in 2014, took Amtrak from Princeton Junction. Definitely worth a cab/Uber/shuttle/motor vehicle, especially if you’re going to be competing or have to carry anything with you.
Any idea when volunteer assignments will be emailed?
Should start going out this week.
Updated team list: 30 Teams Registered & Paid. We have contacted a few of the waitlist teams to pull them off, and we will fill the event to the full capacity of 36 teams.

Teams; be on the lookout for your event packet this evening. After that is to our teams, we’ll post Mayhem Rule & other goodies here.
Thanks!
Just saw the email! I’m very excited for the event. It’s always tons of fun and extremely well run
(Hey look a rhyme)
**Quick Update: **
Team list is still subject to change - We are working with our teams to make sure everyone who sent their payment is accounted for before we invite the next team down the list.
And, what people have been waiting for… (although, not as Mayhem-y as the past).
This event will adhere to standard FIRST Steamworks rules.
We will keep the standard, 3-team alliances for the Playoff Tournament, with backup & time-out cards for all 8 alliance captains.
With a field so complex, we don’t want to strain our wonderful volunteers too far on any crazy changes to the game or field elements. After all, our goal is to make sure all teams in attendance can play their matches (and keep our event on-time!)
**
However…
(what, you think we’d just not have a Mayhem rule?)**
We will be adding small baskets to each Airship with additional Fuel. Pilots may, in what little spare time they have, attempt to throw additional Fuel into their boilers from the airship.
Pilots must abide by all relevant safety & game rules within the Airship. No reaching out over the deck, no arms through Port-holes… Penalties will be assessed should teams create unsafe conditions aboard their alliance’s airship.
No mentor matches?
Can’t wait for the event!
