Just in case it’s useful to anyone, here’s the OshPark link for a little power distribution board I designed last year: OSH Park ~
It’s very simple: it takes in power through one Molex SL connector, and splits it out to 6 others. There’s no regulator onboard, so what you put in is what you get out. However, each channel has a PTC resistor “breaker” that cuts power if too much current is drawn, and instantly-ish resets when the short is cleared. Each channel also has an LED to let you know if it’s getting power.
I used these 100 mA PTCs.
Like I say, there’s not much to it, but it worked flawlessly to distribute power to our sensors during the 2023 season, and saved our bacon in one instance (one of the cables to our climber sensors was shorted, and if it hadn’t been for the per-channel PTCs, that would have knocked out power to our swerve CANcoders).
